Up to release 11.1.1.5 there have been 4 thread pools in Oracle SOA Suite 11g to control parallelism of execution:
1. Invoke Thread Pool ( for asynchronous invocations)
2. Engine Thread Pool ( for callback execution)
3. System Thread Pool
4. Audit Thread Pool
